Get yourself a copy of SWEETWATER ABILENE's new L.P. "THE GIANT ATE THE RAINBOW" today at our mailorder store, or download it at all major digital music outlets. The college radio campaign is underway, so call up your local station and request a listen.

In other news, we have a date set for the Our Fabulous Outfit E.P. "Die Stringband Die", and it's September 25, 2007. They'll be touring the midwest this fall so get out and see some live music.

Bockman is busy putting together the Sixth Annual Euphio Campout on Labor Day Weekend, Aug 31 - Sept 2, at Camp Zoe near Salem, MO. Check out Euphio Campout '07 for more info, and come on down for great camping, floating, and some of the most rocking bands in the country including Bockman, and The Doxies, and this year's headliner Keller Williams.

Things are really coming together with our collaboration on "The After Hours", the original rock theatre that will be debuting throughout MO this July. Check out the myspace page for more info and show dates.

We'd like to congratulate Bockman on the successful debut release "Chasing Dragons" in May. Check out the video for "Squirell View", listen to some MP3's and buy the damned thing.
Some upcoming events include the killer "The Giant Ate The Rainbow" debut from Springfield's indie powerhouse trio Sweetwater Abilene. Check out the preview MP3's. Also, we are awaiting the release of "Die Stringband, Die" the debut EP from Columbia's Our Fabulous Outfit. It's been hampered by some setbacks at the manufacturing plant, but we'll have it available soon. BTW, the guys are layingndown tracks for the full length as we speak. You don't know it yet, but you can't wait.

We've got several cool things happening here at co-opt, so I'll go chronologically.
--Bockman's "Chasing Dragons" hits the streets tuesday May 1st, and we are all really excited to have such a kick ass album for our second full release.
--Sweetwater Abilene's "The Giant Ate The Rainbow" is at the pressing plant and we are gearing up for a early August release date. These guys will be hitting the road this summer so check em out.
--Co-opt is proud to coordinate the musical accompaniment to H.K. Maness' "The After Hours" an original musical that will debut in selected cities during the month of July. Stay tuned for more info and for show dates.
--Last but not least co-opt would like to welcome Our Fabulous Outfit to the family. Their debut EP "Die Stringband Die" will be released in late July.

Hey everybody, I know you're just dying to know what's up with the co-opt bands so here's the run down. Bockman is preparing a tour to launch their new album "chasing dragons". The Doxies are running down a European tour scheduled for this summer and are writing a new album while trying to keep their booze down. Sweetwater Abilene is getting ready to go to press with their first LP "the giant ate the rainbow" and enjoying the first taste of local super stardom. We'd also like to announce the next addition the co-opt family, Our Fabulous Outfit. We'll have their debut album out this summer; stay tuned for mp3's.

The debut release from Columbia, MO's Bockman is in the bag. We'll be working on promo until the May 1st release date, but keep up with Co-opt's mail order page to order an advanced copy.



11.29.06 "The Giant ate the Rainbow"

Co-opt is proud to announce the debut release from Springfield, MO's Sweetwater Abilene. "The Giant ate the Rainbow" indeed, and he then had two waffles and a scrambled egg. SWA will have a limited edition local pressing available Dec 15 at The Outland in Springfield, MO, with a national release date early in 2007. In other news, the debut release from Bockman, "Chasing Dragons", will hit stores on May 01, 2007.

Ever wondered what's up with the Columbia, MO music scene? Well here's your answer. Representing a large variety of Como's bands, this is a upbeat party mix that is sure to get the juices flowin'. Co-opt is proud to be working with Painfully Midwestern Records to distribute a true showcase of our fair city's talent.

09.06.06--Welcome to Co-opt Records.

We are very pleased to announce our inaugural release "In Search of..." the brand new album from midwest rockers The Doxies.
This will be a split release with our friends at Emergency Umbrella and is sure to make waves in the indie circles.

"In Search of..." will hit stores on October 10, 2006. Check out MP3's in the download section.

We are also very pleased to be offering "Million Dollar Bash: Missouri Salutes Bob Dylan" for sale at our web store.
